The reasons behind his decision have now been revealed.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Flick is determined to keep his squad fully focused ahead of a crucial week, and as a result, has ruled out any post-match celebrations if the Catalans triumph over Madrid in the Copa del Rey final. The German coach is wary of potential fatigue or distractions ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter at Montjuic just four days later. Per Mundo Deportivo, no time has been set aside in the team’s schedule for celebrations in Seville.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Instead, following the final at Estadio La Cartuja, the squad will have a quiet team dinner before heading to bed. They will return to Barcelona on Sunday morning and any celebrations will be kept to a minimum, confined to the pitch and dressing room, should Barca lift the trophy.</p>
