WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Per <a href="https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1937929297294917876" target="_blank">Romano</a>, Brentford have given Norgaard permission to travel for a medical, after he agreed personal terms with the Gunners. However, the Denmark international is unlikely to be their main recruit in central midfield, with a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/martin-zubimendi-real-sociedad-london-52m-arsenal-real-madrid-hijack/bltd7b86bfa765a5a96" target="_blank">deal for Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi expected to be announced in the coming weeks</a>.</p>
