Per <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5636273/2024/07/14/tommy-setford-arsenal-transfer/" target="_blank">The Athletic</a>, Arsenal have reached an agreement with Ajax to sign Setford. The England Under-20 international is set to move to the club this summer and sign an initial four-year contract.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Setford is an England youth international, winning caps from Under-16 level, and Arsenal have been in the market for young goalkeepers this summer. Three youth stoppers, including Arthur Okonkwo, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/arthur-okonkwo-wrexham-ryan-reynolds-rob-mcelhenney-complete-deal-goalkeeper-permanently-arsenal-exit/blt3d9f3ef6df0b92d1" target="_blank">who joined Wrexham</a>, have been released, and Setford has been identified as a replacement.
