However, when Ben White put his initials on the shirt, the fan could not control his emotions as he broke down in tears of joy.

After being held to a 1-1 draw by Bournemouth in their first pre-season friendly, Mikel Arteta's side came back strongly to <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-utd-boss-erik-ten-hag-very-pleased-pre-season-defeat-arsenal-united-states/bltfe9f48aaf46d4285" target="_blank">beat rivals Manchester United 2-1 </a>at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Rasmus Hojlund handed United an early lead, however, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli made sure that their club registered their maiden win in the US.

Mikel Arteta's side will take on Liverpool on Wednesday in Philadelphia in their final match in America before heading back home.
