WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The Gunners have agreed to pay over £50 million ($67.8m) to secure the transfer of Madueke from the Blues. The winger is expected to undergo his Arsenal medical this week, now that Chelsea have successfully ended their Club World Cup campaign. The England international is expected to provide cover and competition for compatriot Bukayo Saka on the right flank. </p>

Madueke was in London at a time when the Blues were in action in the Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain in New Jersey. The English won the tie 3-0 to lift the trophy.
