<p>Per <a href="https://tbrfootball.com/alexander-isak-now-missing-from-newcastle-training-ground-as-liverpool-ready-record-bid/" target="_blank"><em>TBR Football</em></a>, Isak is 'absent without leave' as he bids to force through a move to Liverpool. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-newcastle-gbp120m-alexander-isak-valuation-reds-ramp-up-transfer-plans-mohamed-salah-virgil-van-dijk-contract-renewals/bltea02ea1865a65bf1#cs5aa89be914dc20bd" target="_blank">The Reds are said to be willing to pay more than £120 million ($160m) to sign the Sweden international</a> and, as a result, he has informed Newcastle that he is not currently willing to train with his team-mates and is instead working on his fitness at home.</p>

<p>Newcastle are scouring the market for replacements and have reportedly shortlisted <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/newcastle-step-up-benjamin-sesko-pursuit-as-big-yoane-wissa-transfer-hurdle-emerges/bltf5f5e304415336da" target="_blank">Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig</a>; they had been interested in signing Ekitike but he is instead a Liverpool player, perhaps adding to the Magpies' frustrations. </p>
