<p>As per <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/alexander-isak-newcastle-newcastle-crown-court-northumberland-ford-b2709358.html" target="_blank"><em>The Independent</em></a>, Isak was not in his Northumberland home when the burglary took place, only noticing there had been a break-in when he returned home and his bins had moved. The thieves broke in through a glass door and stole £68,000 worth of jewellery, £10,000 in cash and Isak's Audi car, Newcastle Crown Court heard.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Three members of the same family, living in Italy, have admitted conspiracy to commit burglary - though a fourth member, Valentino Nikolov, denies the charge. The group had stolen jewellery and clothes worth more than £1 million from a businesswoman on Tyneside and designer goods worth £100,000 from a different woman on Wearside in the previous days.</p>

<p>Isak has been at Newcastle since August 2022, when he signed from Real Sociedad for a £63m fee. He has developed into one of the best strikers in the Premier League, currently sitting third to Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland in the 2024-25 Golden Boot race.</p>
