<p>Al-Ittihad have been crowned Saudi Pro League champions for the 10th time in their history after their 3-1 comeback victory over already relegated Al-Raed at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Thursday. WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Al-Ittihad have won the title for the second time in three years, with defending champions Al-Hilal having faltered through the middle part of the season. Meanwhile, Ronaldo's Al-Nassr have been way off the mark in terms of their level of performance over the season. Benzema is now set to end the season as Al-Ittihad's top scorer.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr had been tied for the second-most Saudi Pro League titles, with the two sides having had nine titles each, while Al-Hilal are first with 19 league titles to their name. After winning the 2024-25 title, Al-Ittihad are now clear second with 10 titles.</p>
