<p>Napoli were willing to offer Giacomo Raspadori in an exchange deal for Lookman but the latter has rejected the move, according to <a href="https://bergamo.corriere.it/notizie/sport/atalanta/25_luglio_22/l-atalanta-punta-a-moreira-e-per-lookman-inter-al-rialzo-0f59e60d-cf10-4631-a20c-ae30f5ea7xlk.shtml?refresh_ce" target="_blank"><em>Corriera della Sera.</em></a> Inter may increase their bid to €44 million (£38m/$52m), but it still falls short of Atalanta’s €50m (£43m/$58m) valuation.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Lookman had <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ademola-lookman-agrees-inter-move-but-serie-a-side-s-offer-falls-short-of-atalanta-s-huge-asking-price/blt209b6f4f6f19d98b" target="_blank">agreed personal terms with Inter</a> earlier but the clubs have failed to find an agreement on the transfer fee. Napoli and Antonio Conte were interested in using Lookman to replace Kvicha Kvaratskhelia but <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/ademola-lookman-waiting-improved-offer-inter-after-eur50m-atalanta-rejects-napoli-transfer/bltf3d9272310592bf3" target="_blank">could not agree terms with the player,</a> while it was reported in recent weeks that Barcelona had their eye on him despite their financial concerns. Atalanta will hope to have clarity on Lookman’s future soon as they are targeting Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee as a replacement for Lookman.</p>

<p>Lookman isn’t the only Atalanta forward interested in leaving the club as <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/atalanta-pocket-eur80m-fee-serie-a-top-scorer-mateo-retegui-saudi-arabia-transfer/blt6092acb32141cc55" target="_blank">Matteo Retegui </a>left Bergamo to join Saudi side Al-Qadsiah earlier this week.</p>
