The four-time straight Premier League winners are always on the hunt for new prospects as they look to keep up their domination of English football. Man City are looking to rejuvenate their midfield over the coming few years and their bets on Kalvin Phillips and Matheus Nunes haven't proved too successful. Despite having played at the Championship level for under two years, Palace felt obliged to pay Blackburn's £22.5 million ($28.6m) asking price as they understood the potential of the midfielder.
